questions are being raised in boston this morning after police used control a crowd of teens who gathered to meet a pro basketball player. nearly 1,000 people were there. many of them started knocking over barriers and each other after the event didn't start on time. officers used pepper spray to gain control, but some aren't happy with that decision. sixteens were arrested. police are investigating after a free-speech wall was

broken. >> reporter: cyber security experts have long warned about how simple it would be to mess with individual electronic voting booths. >> it would be very easy for someone to put a piece of malware on this type of device, especially if these cards are not encrypted and while they're voting manipulate the card -- [ indistinguishable ] a code on one of these devices or multiply the number of votes they're actually submitting. >> reporter: there's no evidence place, but at least four states including illinois have had their voter registration roles targeted or scanned. >> we're highly confident that nothing was added or altered. >> reporter: officials are concerned the scanning by hackers in russia or elsewhere might have just been a preparation for today. >> there have been a variety of scanning activities, which is a preamble for potential intrusion activities.

lots of historic things happening right now. continuing our election-day coverage with beth fisher, our good morning las vegas anchor. >> beth is live at coronado high school where the polls are now open. beth, what's going on out there? >> reporter: well, god -- good morning! we're showing you a short line heading into the cafeteria to vote. steady stream of people all morning long at long lines at 7:00 a.m. when the polls first opened. a lot of people excited to be casting their votes this year. i was wondering leading up to the election there was so much drama, and a lot of people, i think, were over it early, but today every person i've spoken with is really excited to be participating in this process. i noticed lots of kids here today. parents want their kids to learn about the process, and i talked to a couple of older kids who told me they cannot wait to

california, her husband believes that someone abducted her and he has a message today hoping that she is listening somewhere. >> i'm coming, honey, i'm trying. i'm doing everything i can, and i love you. >> her family describes her as a supermom and says they got worried about her when she didn't pick up her two young kids from child care on wednesday. her husband says he got a text from her that mornin he was coming home for lunch, but he didn't see that message until later in the afternoon. he says he later found her phone on the side of the road. >> i hope they find her. well, new development this is morning in the case of a possible serial killer in south carolina. investigators have now found a third body. the same place where police found kala brown lock in a shipping container and her boyfriend buried in a shallow

well, this just in. eric trump, donald trump's son, appears to have violated election law by taking a picture of his ballot in new york, this is all accor this is a picture of the tweet. you can see the picture of the ballot itself, i know the caption is a little bit cut off. it says, it's an incredible honor to vote for my father. he will do such a great job for the usa. this tweet has been deleted because new york is one of the state that is prohibits taking pictures in polling stations, sharing completed ballots and taking ballot selfies. >> have to join justin timberlake. we do have a special election edition of dirty

is immune to dirty dining. >> reporter: hillary clinton held a rally in las vegas in october and before the rally she stopped to eat here at tacos el gordo, pronouncing it the best place to go in las vegas. >> she gave out hugs and selfies before oddering. >> reporter: a few days after that unofficial campaign stop this complaint was filed with the southern nevada health district about a of guest, a pest in fact, after a local man found a worm crawling in his taco. kevin shared his cell phone video with contact 13. health district records say he had already eaten a few tacos before he noticed this worm, and when he brought it to the manager's attention she said it's only a fruit worm and dpnt care about the -- didn't care about the fact there was a worm in the food.

what they'd tell us. the owner says they apologize for the incident saying this is isolated. the worm came in a shipment from she lan troa from california. when the health district went o follow up on the complaint they took these photos while they chg things out. records show they did not see any pest activity while they were there, but to coas el gordo employees acknowledged there were inspectors left them with a warning to check out food prior to prep and service. tacos el dordo has an a grade. 13 action news. court day is election day, and another big day happening on friday with the veteran's day parade. >> two big things, and the weather, i think is going to be pretty decent, greg. >> it's going to be gorgeous is what it's going to be. i've got clear skies right now.

live inside the polling place, be but they're right inside the cafeteria there. long lines, and we have some video we were able to shoot for you earlier, just showing folks showing up here casting their votes. in the past two general elections here in clark county about half of all voters early voted, and it looks like that's the same case this year with 488,000 people already voting, but the deal is plenty of folks still want to make sure their showing up here today to cast their vote. i've talked to a lot of people as they're heading out to a person, every single person is telling me, i'm glad it's over. my part is done. i'm curious what are some of the states you're going to be paying attention to early on as the results come in? >> reporter: well, as the night wears on obviously one of the states we'll be paying a lot of attention to is nevada, but early in the evening florida is the state that will have our most focus attention, and that's because first of of course it's a very big state, but secondly it is tied as we go into election day and all of the public opinion it is dead even, and so we are going to just take a look and see how it does come out, if we know how it comes out tonight and if donald trump wins there it means he's got a pass ahead to victory. if he loses there it becomes problematic for him. >> this race certainly has gotten really nasty at times. trump saying the election system is rigged. we had the fbi making public

e-mails. perhaps some lasting damage here done by this election? >> reporter: it has been an incredibly divisive election in all kinds of ways, and what we're seeing is tremendous divisions among various groups of people in this society. as we go into today our abc tracking polls are showing huge differences between men and women, between old people young people, between whites and non-whites, between college educated and non-college educated, rural and urban, and the biggest of all, white evangelical christians are 97 points removed from the views of people who don't identify with a religion, so it is a country that is really rivetted apart in all kinds of ways, and it's going to take a tremendous amount of leadership to bring it back together.

record-numbers here of early voters. are we going to have record turnout voters or the same amount of voters deciding to vote earlier? >> it's hard to know because the early vote including yours are so much bigger than they have been in past years that we don't know exactly what that means, whether that's a substitute for election-day voting or in addition to election-day voting. election day voting and these states, florida again, take a look at, election day voting in florida tends to be republican, slightly republican, so if what we have seen is a lot of early voting that's more democratic, and today turns out to be more republican, that could tilt florida one way or the other. >> all right, final question for
